About Lacey

Pregnant dog seen wandering for days. City is trying to catch her, may be euthanized if caught bc apparently she's not really cared for, was seen wandering multiple times in the past. Friend asked me to hold her temporarily bc no one wants her to be euthanized. Shelter has bad reputation. 'Lacey' is name we chose, she already knows it. I finally got her to come inside. She is anxious but not aggressive, most likely bc she was abandoned while pregnant. So far, good with my 4 rescue dogs, a little curious with my 5 rescue cats...did follow one of the cats. Not a full on chase, but I didn't like it, so corrected her. She did listen, leaves all other cats alone, so she may be good with most cats. We can't keep her permanently. We simply have too many rescued animals, some with expensive medical conditions. I've left messages with some pit bull rescues, waiting. If anyone is interested in fostering, thank you!
