About Remi

Remi is a 1 year old spayed female standard size Australian Shepherd. Remi is still young and learning what's expected of her but she's eager to please. Remi came from a home where she spent most of her time outside with her doggy playmate. Now that she has a choice she prefers to be inside with her person. She's looking for a new family that will allow her to be a house dog and become part of their family. Remi is crate trained and housed trained. She plays well with other dogs and will need a doggy playmate of similar size, age, and energy in her new home. Remi has made lots of progress in learning what's expected of her but will need a family committed to continuing her basic training. She walks on leash and rides in the car nicely. She is still learning to not jump on people out of excitement and can still be a bit mouthy and nippy at times when she gets really excited so she needs continued training to help her redirect those behaviors. Her herding drive with small children was strong in her previous home so we feel she will do best in a home with older children. Remi needs a six foot privacy fence in her new home.
