About Gwen

Meet Gwen! She is a purebred golden retriever. She is 7 1/2 months old. She is spayed, and had the gastropexy done at the same time. She is house trained, crate trained, and working on leash manners. She is AMAZING with other dogs. LOVES my children. Grew up in a home with a cat prior to coming to us so she has some socializing there as well! She is a LOVER of water!! She LOVES to swim in our pool. She is learning commands and is really good at sit especially for pets and treats. Her owner was an older elderly woman who had never owned a dog before and researched a good first dog to own and that's how she ended up with Gwen, sadly a growing puppy's energy and excitement was more than her owner could handle and she became very limited and confined in her home due to not being able to walk her or play with her due to haveing no experience in training a dog. We are thankful she is with us now And will make sure her next home is a home where her new owners understand the commitment and love she needs!!! Her rehoming fee is 1500. It covers her spay, vaccines, and microchip/registration. It also covers her overall time with us, and training. We have decided to have a gastropexy done on her which is usually an additional cost of 500 and solely up to our adopting family if they want it done, but with her being as young as she is and it being a highly recommended procedure in this breed we decided to make the decision to move forward with having it done without prior commitment. With that said, we are asking 1500 to cover all the above, if the adopting family is able to cover the additional 500 that would be great as it would help alleviate the additional cost for us. We travel all over and will bring her all the way home for the right home. She is gorgeous, and weighs around 40 lbs now. Photos will be sent to approved homes so tell us about yours today!!!
