Nina was one of three pups found dumped along the side of a busy rural road in Western North Carolina in October. She and her two sisters hadn't been there long before being taken to safety. Her minor health issues have been treated and now at close to six (6) months of age, Nina weighs a little over 22 lbs and is ready for a permanent home. Her stay in a foster home allowed her to make the transition from living outdoors to being in a home with a family and she now has a strong foundation for continued development and training. Nina is inquisitive, attentive, affectionate, and playful (as you'd expect!). She still needs supervision and will benefit from having a play companion in her new home. A fenced yard is a must! Please contact us for more information and photos, or to arrange to meet Little Miss Nina! Note: We don't believe Nina is a TWC; she's more likely an American English Coonhound, Redtick, for which there's no category to post under. Without DNA testing it's impossible to know for sure but her breed/mix should become clearer as she gets older.
