About Mike

Mike is an Australian Cattle dog. He is very high energy and quite intelligent. He is food motivated and follows his commands. However, his instincts can get the best of him and he'll chase wild animals if he manages to escape our fenced yard. He can be introduced to new dogs for companionship but if they are smaller than him, he will dominate them completely. While he used to not care about strangers, he recently escaped and charged at two, although didn't bite. The best for him would be somewhere he can burn his energy but be kept in check by a strong fence.
