About Thyme

'Hello! My name is Thyme and if you thought that you might need to add a little flavor to your menu, then I'm your gal! I just can't wait to go home with you! I am a 3-5 year old Mixed Breed pup that came to SVASC shortly after weaning a litter of pups, as you can see from my earlier photos. Now that I'm spayed and have left that life behind me, I'm excited to get a fresh start and enjoy my new beginning as your new bff. I am a very sweet, loving gal and have yet to meet a person that I didn't love! I even do well with older kiddos, but may be a smidge too excitable for very young kids. As always, plan to bring along the whole family when you come to visit. I enjoy going for walkies, but am pretty strong on the leash and will need some work on that. The good news is that I'm eager to please and so a little positive reinforcement, treats, and repetition will go a long way with me. I am a higher energy dog and will need regular exercise, but nothing a good game of fetch in the backyard can't help. SVASC does recommend that I go to a home with a fence, though that isn't a requirement. I am also believed to be house-trained and like to keep a tidy space. Soooo... what're you waiting for? My adoption fee is WAIVED to an approved adopter. I am currently waiting for a home with a foster, so I'm not at SVASC.
