About CAS (aka 'Castillo')

*** Spring Into Love ADOPTION FEE DISCOUNT ! *** 'CAS' (aka 'Castillo') is a 1 yr old, 70-75 lb., Catahoula Leopard dog mix male we rescued from a kill pound. He has gorgeous coloring and yellow eyes. Cas is a sweet, sweet 'baby boy' innocent in personality. He is affectionate and loving, but doesn't realize his size at times and that he isn't a 'lap dog'. Cas loves the companionship of other dogs (his best buddy in rescue is 'Jonah') and he has a robust play style. Ideally, a home with a playful, good natured, kind, slightly older and confident resident pooch would suit Cas, so he can learn by example, gain more confidence over time and continue to blossom and thrive. Cas is neutered, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, on monthly heart-worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not do it's own 'shots' ... all medical care is done by a licensed, certified Veterinarian or done under their direct supervision (ex., monthly heartworm treatments &/or deworming). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
