Say hello to Pez! Pez is a husky mix... we suspect maybe corgi dye to his shorter stature and markings. Pez was dumped on a rural gravel road and brought in by a nearby farmer. Pez is high energy and very insecure. He will need help understanding the leash and learning it's okay to put some space between him and his humans. When on leash, Pez wants to literally hug your leg, or squeeze between them. Pez is a goofy boy and generally happy. We think Pez may have been abused, and possibly by a male. He is great with the shelter staff, but will bark at male strangers in particular. Out of his kennel he seems fine with all visitors, but can be all over the place. He has a lot of energy and is just unsure what he's supposed to do with it all. Suffice it to say, we think Pez is an awesome boy, but will require a lot of one on one time and training to learn how to be the best dog he can be. Dogs like Pez make fantastic friends for life, and all he needs is someone willing to take the time to boost his confidence. If that could be you, please call our shelter at 7404410207 and let us know you want to meet him!
