Came from a home with cats so assuming cat friendly but have not tested. ----- Suitable for: home with fenced yard. ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: A little shy with new people, seems to prefer women ----- Additional Notes: Damon is a handsome little guy. He looks like a mini pittie but he is lacking in some training and boundaries. He has been friendly and social but doesn't have much for manners yet so we are working on it. He is a little hesitant with new people but that is expected with his history. This guy had an owner that was incarcerated and was then abandoned in the home with 5 other dogs, 2 cats, 40+ rats, 30+ ducks and chickens, 4 ferrets, 3 guinea pigs, and 6 parakeets all in the home. The conditions were deplorable and it was very difficult to breathe. After being in rescue for weeks, we are now going to place him in his forever home where he can enjoy life and be someone's best buddy! In true little guy fashion, he has energy and will be smart and trainable. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption can be finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed/neutered unless not recommended by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. A secure physically fenced yard is required.
