About Arvo

Arvo needs an adventure buddy. He is a sweet, incredibly motivated and intelligent blue heeler mix who is ready to be out to work! He needs a lot of space and could use a dog buddy or two to get out energy with, as well as someone who has experience with fearful/anxious dogs. Arvo is reactive to strangers and runners, and I have not been able to help him through these struggles. He also deals with a lot of noise related anxiety and separation anxiety. Generally, he needs a very experienced dog owner. He has bitten strangers twice and I'm scared if there's a next time, he will be put down. I cannot afford to house Arvo or give him the life he deserves. He has a very high prey drive and is causing my 13 year old cat so much stress, she's beginning to have health problems related to it. We are all miserable because our lives do not fit together. Arvo loves to work and play! We use our flirt pole outside at least 2 hours every day and use enrichment toys, but he could keep working all day! Nothing would make him happier than to be with someone who could home in on these abilities
