About Ginger

Hi, I am Ginger. I am LOOKING FOR HOME AND A WHOLE NEW FAMILY. That's my photo-I am about 5 yrs old and I am a very exotic terrier/ pitt/ shephard mix. I am GOOD and will be proud to be your dog to be your dog. Do you want me to sit? Lie down? Sit? Just ask. I'll do it for you! I hope I can find a new family. I am kind of anxious about it. Mostly, I hope my new family really considers me a bone-ifd member of the family. Like, I want to sleep in the bed too. I love smelly feet! Duh!. the dog bed is not the 'REAL BED'. And I want my spot underneath the dinner table at supper time. I also so hope my new family knows that I am not a couch potato. If somethings happening I am happening too. When I am out in the yard I am out there to work. I bark at cyclists and dog walkers when they pass by my fence. I really, really like people. There has never been a human I didn't know that made me not love them. You know. My family scolds me because I jump on new people and I know, I know I'll get better. But I get so excited. And I really like kids. Lots of them and even babies. I am so careful with them. Like in a game of tug of war I will hardly pull at all. I will let the kid decide how rough we are playing. But oh! I do like a good game of shoulder jerking tug-of-war. HaHa! I have been taking dog training classes so that my family can learn how to communicate with me better. I like it and I am good at it. I have a pretty high prey, so be super aware. My new family needs a strong fence. And I hate cats. Cats always get their way. You don't live with any cats? Right? And no chickens? Right? I don't know if I want to have another dog roommate. I grew up with a Pitt and we played and slept together. But sometimes I don't like other dogs. Like there is a pretty little boxer that belong to Ma's best friend. The first time I met her she snarled and barked. Of course, after that I snarled and barked back. Whenever I see that dog she says such horrible things, so last time that dog came over, I wanted to run right up and tell her what's what. It is my territory. I don't know what would have happened if Pa hadn't jerk back on the leash so hard. I rarely walk with other dogs because Ma and Pa have acres of wooded land. When we go for a walk, Pa unleashes me in the woods and I RUN and runnnnnn and jump, always checking back to make sure Pa is okay, and of course, answering any time he calls for me. When I have gone on walks with other dogs, I am so busy protecting Ma and Pa and TREATS, I don't have time to play. Sometimes I will bark and pretend to threaten dogs that are passing our front yard, but no one really worries about that because there is an electric fence I would have to run through. Have you ever have to deal with one of those? They hurt like shit. So do you still want to be friends?
