About Blitz

Blitz is a super friendly, happy 2 year old, 9-10 pound Chihuahua mix who was surrendered to us with several other dogs out of a hoarding situation. Their prior owner is a very kind-hearted lady who just got overwhelmed with all the dogs she had and reached out to us for help. We love this picture of Blitz because it's kind of his little personality.... sweet and cute and playful! Blitz is full of personality, and loves for a person to pay attention to him. He eagerly goes to you for kisses and pets, dancing around with a wiggly butt. He loves to lick your ears! Blitz is generally good with other dogs and really loves to play with them. He does not like to share his person's lap with other dogs and would probably be fine as an only dog if he didn't spend too much time alone. We think he would be good with most kids age 5 and up. He has not been around cats since we have had him. Blitz is not housebroken, does not know how to walk well on a leash, and would be best with a fenced yard. At night he sleeps cuddled up on bed. Blitz loves to be in a lap and will follow you wherever you go. He will make someone a very loyal and loving companion! Blitz has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, fecal tested, heartworm negative, has had a 12 ProHeart prevention shot, and is microchippped with a lifetime registration. His neuter will be scheduled at one of our vets soon and is covered by the rescue.
