Please know that we will ask for a vet reference. Name: Leo Age: 1 year old Breed: American Bulldog /Beagle Mix Sex: 40# (Male, not neutered) Location: Ontario Country, NY Vet Information: Up to date on vaccinations or heartworm. Leo is not neutered or microchipped at this time. He was adopted as a puppy and has been blind since birth due to neuro issues. He can sense light and some movement. Owner report: Leo was adopted from a rescue when he was a puppy. He seemed to be a puppy mill puppy who was surrendered after found to be blind. Leo is described as an indoor dog with run of the house. He's described as a bit shy (he 'pancakes' when he feels overwhelmed) but quickly opens up and enjoys meeting new people and dogs. He's good with children, adults, other dogs, and new situations. He has never been around cats before. He lives with a 9 month old pug, currently. He has a mildly sensitive stomach and needs to have new foods introduced slowly to him. He currently eats Beneful beef and rice mix. He does not respond well to new food introduced, especially treats. Must be incorporated slowly or be on probiotics (he was on purina pro-plan as stated by vet) . Leo's owner reports 'Leo is a great boy with a lot of love to give. We absolutely love him and wish we didn't have to surrender him, but he deserves a house with more time for him and a big backyard to run around.' Does anyone have room for sweet Leo? **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
