About Hazel

'Hazel' was found wandering outside the gas station in our neighborhood by my boyfriend Mason. She had a collar/tag and we were able to contact her 'owners.' When we went to drop off Hazel, her living conditions were deplorable, and she made it very clear she did not want to return to them. The owners agreed to surrender her to us (as they were being evicted the following day) and claimed she had only been staying with them for the past few months after wandering onto their property. We had full intentions of keeping her, after all- she is THE SWEETEST most well behaved dog. We assumed she had just given birth (swollen teats/vulva) however, she is actually still pregnant and will most likely give birth within a few days. Neither one of us have ANY experience in dealing with this type of situation, nor do we have the time to help her rear her pups. She is potty trained, does well with other dogs, and strangers/children, but suffers from severe separation anxiety. She deserves a home and an owner with the experience and time needed to help her raise her pups. I can help answer any questions, however she has only been in our care since Saturday.
