About Uno

Uno is a 1 year old Border Collie mix. He is good with kids and other dogs. He is curious with cats and somewhat excitable but has been alright with our 6 farm cats. He has lived in town with kids in the past but honestly seems to not like being a house dog. He does very well with our 4 year old. He was relinquished to us along with 3 other dogs. The family was unable to provide veterinary care for the dogs. He is a very sweet dog who aims to please. He does not like to crate unless someone is in the room. He does well in a fenced yard and likes to follow his people inside but prefers to be where they are or outside if alone. He needs work on manners and consistency but is very smart and trainable. He responds well to verbal commands and a vibration collar when loose on the farm. When hiking on pack walks and there are no chickens around he is very well behaved. He is very prey driven with poultry so we would recommend he not live with chickens or ducks. He is neutered and now up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He was started on heartworm preventative.
