About Izzy

Welcome Izzy to CCPAL. She is a 3-year-old Greyhound/Terrier mix or Plott Hound. She has a beautiful grey brindle coat. Her bestie in the Rescue is Milo. She was with a family and Milo was their other dog. Both lost their home due to the pandemic and now they are looking for a new forever home. Izzy is good in a crate, all people and other dogs. She is quiet in her crate and keeps her crate clean. She is allowed to be off leash with other dogs and she does great. She comes when called and is also good with her harness. She weighs about 50 lbs and is an ideal weight. She will be fine with kids and and will probably do best with another dog so she can have someone to look after. She is moderately active and has good manners about not jumping up. She will make some lucky family a wonderful companion. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180.
