About Annie

I'm Annie, I'm about four years old and I can't wait to find my forever family! I'm a playful, energetic girl who loves to chase a ball and go on walks! I love to be brushed, especially if you let me sit in your lap while you brush me! (Don't remind me that I weigh about 50 pounds... I'm totally a lap dog!) During my time at the shelter, I was a member of playgroup, running club and I also had a roommate! I'll be honest, shelter life was tough, but I'm learning to be a carefree dog again now that my shelter days are over! I am looking for a forever family that is patient with me, without any resident dogs at home. I bark at cats and chickens, so I need someone who will be patient in helping me adjust! Oh did I mention that I love all humans? I am heartworm positive, so I also need a family that can commit to helping me as I have started my treatment. The good news is that my heartworm treatment is taken care of by the shelter and after just a few short months, I'll be 100% healthy again! It may seem like a lot (we're all a little high maintenance), but I promise to love you unconditionally! All it takes is one look into my light brown eyes and you'll know I'm ready to be your best friend for life!
