About Porter

**Currently fostered in Lynwood, WA** Meet Porter, approximately 22 month old male Catahoula mix (per DNA testing he's mixed with Border Collie, Australian Cattle Dog and Staffordshire Terrier). Porter is a super smart, snuggly pup who thinks he's a lap dog. He loves to give hugs and always gives a kiss before his meals. He loves hiking and going on long walks, 6 miles is about his sweet spot. Porter is house broken and crate trained. He loves his stuffies, well after they have lost their fluff. He's a gentle giant to house flys and is just an overall sweet boy. Porter does not do well with other male dogs in the home, or cats. He's had almost no exposure to small children. It is recommended that Porter is in a home as an only dog, or at least the only male. He is socialized well and loves to play at off-leash dog parks, getting along well with others. Porter is fully vaccinated, fixed and ready for his new home. His adoption fee covers all of this and his transport from the rescue in TX to his current residence in WA.
