About Duke

Duke is 3 years old. He has had a rough life. He was an outside dog. Duke's owner died and he had no where to go. He was malnourished and severely under weight. Duke only weighed 54 pounds when we got him. He currently weighs 70 pounds and is such a happy guy. He does still get several smaller meals throughout the day. Duke loves to play and is starting to play fetch. He knows how to sit. Duke is gaining confidence daily and learning new things. He still needs some training on the leash, but he loves to go for walks. Duke is learning to sit and wait for his food instead of jumping up to get it from you. He is so smart and quickly learns new things. Despite everything he has been though Duke still loves people and believes that everyone is his friend. Duke will do best in a family with lots of love and patience.
