About Sophie

Sophie has a young soul and energetic spirit. The shelter aged her at six but with her energy and spunk, we think she is closer to 4. She is small at 45 pounds, curious and timid with new places, but warms up quickly. She would spend all day outside sniffing if she could. When she's not sniffing, she loves to chew on her toys. She loves rolling around with her furry foster brother to get her energy out. When it's time to nap she loves to snuggle under blankies with her head on a pillow- human style. She loves to be where the people are and will crawl into your lap when you sit down. Sometimes she thinks she's a baby and likes to be carried. She goes in her crate when told and sleeps through the night. She is a favorite amongst the neighbors and house guests. She lets me give her a bath no problem and has even tried to join her foster mama in the shower a few times. She seems to prefer male dogs to female, but can be tested to see how she gets along with your family. She is crate and house trained, good with all people (smaller kids be careful, because she sometimes jumps) and good with most dogs. Her adoption fee is $300.
