About Bruno

Owner surrendered after having him since he was 5 weeks old. 13 month old Bruno (#A4541933) now finds himself in a shelter terrified and confused. Shame on the owner and now this pup pays the price,�%9D� Death end of day 10/26/2021. �%9D� Bruno must have sensed what was happening to him as he hid behind his owners legs while he waited for his turn to be walked to his kennel and say goodbye to the only family he has ever known. Bruno is overwhelmed with the scary sounds and sights of the shelter. He spends his time trembling curled up in a ball in his kennel. With some coaxing Bruno does find the courage to come out of his kennel but is so scared he just want to go back and hide. Once out in the yard he sought protection by hiding behind the handler's chair, allowed some brief pets and just watched the world go by. Bruno needs to get back to into a home where he will once again feel safe and be the happy pup he once was. His offense is he was never taught that a kid's toys were not his. When there is a puppy and toddlers in the same home the one thing you teach your dog is what is not theirs and what is. This obviously was not done. His only savior now is for a foster and rescue to step-up and save him. There are no notes about how he does with other dogs, so he would be best as only dog or safely kept separate. Bruno will thrive in a patient adult home where can recover from this traumatic experience and get back to being a happy young dog.
