CARMEN #4262 Female 7 years old Chow Chow mix 63 pounds ~no information on living with cats, dogs and children previously Our experiences are below. Carmen has a lot of chow in her. If you love the chows, you will love her! She has a thick coat of reddish hair and very cute ears. The volunteers enjoy grooming her and she adores the attention! She will stand right by you and let it happen. Not much for playing but she does enjoy a walk around the area. She isn't a needy dog. She can do her own thing and come to you for attention. A perfect mix of occupying herself and wanting love. We don't know what her previous life was like as far as cats, dogs and kids. I'd say no to cats. Older children may be ok if they are respectful and dogs, well, she's very selective so a meet and greet is required and will give you a good idea about her dog mind set. Don't count this lady out!
