About Dorito

Adoption Fee: $25
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Intake date: 31 Dec 2020 / Adopted: 24 Jan 2021 / Returned to Rescue: 11 Oct 21 ----- Age at Intake: 1.5 yrs ----- Breed: DSH ----- Size: 8lbs ----- Status: Owner Surrender, Hoard case. Returned to rescue due to owner illness ----- Compatible with: cats, dogs, courteous children. ----- Suitable For: Indoor only home ----- Behavior/medical needs: none noted ----- Additional Notes: Handsome Dorito is a gorgeous orange tabby. He came from an elderly woman's home after all of the cats she was helping multiplied to 50+. He and 3 of his brothers found safety at For Belle's Sake. He is very social, outgoing, and sweet. Please consider giving him a lifelong, forever home. Dorito has had a really rough life for such a young guy. But he is still so loving. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Adoption fee is sponsored and reduced to $25 and he is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any known medical needs. Indoor only homes allowed and declawing violates contract and is strictly prohibited. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spay/neuter = $120; Vaccinations = $40.00; Microchip = $10.00 Deworming = $20.00; Total vetting = $970 + food, litter, etc Adoption fee = $125 ----- Without support, we cannot continue to rescue cats. Unfortunately few will pay the minimal adoption fee when cats can be found free anywhere. What they aren't prepared for is the vetting expense required and then the animals are not fixed and the reproduction surplus continues. Sponsoring a cats adoption fee allows us to find them a home after being fully vetted, continue intaking and vetting, and continue baby steps towards 'fixing feline overpopulation'. To sponsor, send your donation via PayPal at [email protected] with the name of the cat you would like to sponsor in the note! As always, we appreciate your support and cannot do this without you. You are unsung heroes!! See Less
