About Koa

Duke and Koa are a bonded pair. Duke is a 6 year old Bengal who came into my care after his breeder/owner passed away two years ago. Koa is a 1 year old Siberian Forest Cat mix who was a rescue as a young kitten. Koa grew up with Duke. Duke has been a help with foster kittens I've had in my care as he enjoys their company and teaches them well. Koa loves all other cats while Duke is nervous around new adult cats. Koa is evasive/submissive in uncomfortable situations with other cats. Duke is defensive aggressive in uncomfortable situations with other cats. Duke would need a slow introduction with Koa included with adult cats. I'll also send him home with a few months of calming collars because those work wonders with him when adjusting to new situations. They've been introduced to different temperaments of large and small dogs. They are generally uncomfortable around dogs but, can be homed with some on a case by case basis. They're okay with older kids but, no younger kids. They're incredibly sweet. Duke is the best biscuit maker in town! He has a strong purr, beautiful glittery warm brown coat with rosettes, green/yellow eyes, great small/medium athletic stature, and the biggest personality you'll ever come across. He'll talk to you and make sassy faces. He spends most of his time sleeping, looking out windows, and scratching his favorite post. He's never scratched anything inappropriate or had accidents while in my care. He's very clean. Koa is quite possibly the most adorable cat I've laid my eyes on. He has a bunny soft fluffy coat, short (but not quite munchkin) legs, a tail that curls over like a squirrel, mitted paws, emerald green eyes, and a lush blue color with cute white markings. Two stripes go down his chin that look like fangs when he looks up. He is very playful by himself and with other cats but, loves a good cuddle session with his person. He gives kisses and hugs. He's a very good self groomer and is clean otherwise as well. They both love cat trees, windows, food, treats, and a fresh litter box. They're pretty simple and low maintenance but, they deserve someone who has more time to offer. They're too loving to spend as much time alone as they do. They're both neutered and about due for their annual vaccines. No health concerns for either of them. They'll steal your heart. They stole mine and it's hard letting them go but, I have to do what's best for them. Text or email me with any inquiries.
