Wille E. was found as a stray in the streets of northeast Philadelphia. He was severely emaciated, anemic and hairless from a bad flea allergy. He was treated at a veterinarian, neutered and is on track to a full recovery. He is estimated to be about 3 years old and appears to be a German Shepard mix. So far we have been unsuccessful finding his owners. Rather than surrender him to a shelter we took him into our home in Scranton. Unfortunately he does not get along with our resident dogs and has shown aggression towards people when exposed to other dogs. He is house broken and knows basic commands. Overall he is a very sweet boy in need of an experienced, gentle owner looking for a best friend. Now we keep him completely separate from our other pets, and he is a fantastic houseguest. He has not been around children so his compatibility with kids is unknown. We believe he would do best in a low energy household as too much stimulation seems to make him anxious. Please reach out with any questions regarding Wille E.! He is truly a special boy and would be eternally grateful to his forever humans.
