It's clear this lovely , petite 61 pounds lady is used to people - she sits for treats, leans in for pets, likes to be brushed and walks on a leash lightly. With volunteers she has shown she is polite and friendly, and gives her belly for scratches! It seems all this low maintenance gal needs is a home! Summer was surrendered on May 15th along with 3 other dogs (all adopted) after the dogs were running loose and an incident occurred with another dog. Due to this, Summer will need to be adopted outside of the City of LA due to license restrictions. Summer was in a play group at the shelter and was avoidant of the other dogs. She may do well in a home with another mellow dog after slow and proper intros. We'd like to see this sunny girl find a person who can keep her safe, and give her a forever home!
