About Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea is a small bundle of cuteness and fur! Sadly, she was dumped at an Alabama shelter when her owner moved, but she is very quiet, and as her name suggests very sweet. She has met a pack of dogs and done well with every one of them and they with her, which is no small feat. Sweet Pea walks like a dream on a leash and has a great appetite .She is not a velcro dog but is very happy to sit by you for loving. She goes to her bed in the corner of the living room and sleeps all night. She is house-trained and has had NO accidents since arriving at her fosters. She has been treated for heartworms and is now heartworm free. She does have a thyroid condition controlled by medication that costs $10 a month. Sweet Pea is a keeper - a happy, tail wagging sweetheart- she loves walks as can be seen by her tail that wags the whole time. She is mostly low energy but has been seen to suddenly run through the house and out in the yard. She has been tested with cats and will ignore them. She's an overall wonderful little dog that would be a great addition to a kind, laid-back family that will look out for her emotional and physical well-being!
