About GOLIATH

The shelter thinks I am about 2 years old. I weigh approximately 60 pounds. Oh, gosh; oh, golly! What a hunk GOLIATH (#A2003089) is! What a handsome, gentle hunk he is! What a treat-motivated hunk he is, one who takes treats oh so gently. A hunk who was dumped at the East Valley Animal Shelter, Van Nuys, CA, for, allegedly, having killed a new puppy his people brought into their home. And if that is true, it's a tragedy. Yet, the information that was provided in the Dog Interview (attached) has several discrepancies, in my opinion. For instance, question 6 asks 'How does this dog play with other dogs?' Answer: 'Doesn't play.' Question 7 asks '... Around cats, this dog is...' Answer: 'Very tolerant.' But, above, the response is that [Goliath] is 'Barrier agresive' [sic]; 'food agresive [sic] will kill cat'. The shelter volunteers and others who have met GOLIATH may say that he was shy for about a day, but now he is eager to be taken for a walk and he is easy to handle. Why not come by the shelter and meet GOLIATH or, at least, Share this post so it might reach someone who has been searching for a loving companion to hang around with, forevermore. The shelter is open without appointments on weekends, Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 5pm. It continues to operate by appointment during the week, Tuesday through Friday, from 9am to 4pm.
