About Meeko

COURTESY POST - Meeko is in need of a new home. Meeko is a 2 yr old very handsome Snowshoe cat who, without a doubt, fits the breed's description of having a high level of affection and intelligence - he is your go to cuddle buddy and this boy is so smart that he will jump on handles to open doors! Meeko is named after the raccoon in the Disney movie 'Pocahontas' because as a kitten he would literally steal food any chance he got - and still will! He is happy lounging around, but if you engage him in play, he is happy to do that, too. Meeko is somewhat vocal, but only in the best and sweetest way. Meeko is up to date on all vaccines, neutered and has his claws. He is strictly an indoor cat, but does enjoy lounging on the above ground deck occasionally. Meeko unfortunately is not fond of young children - they tend to stress him out and cause him not to live his best. He gets along with dogs and younger cats, but would probably do best in a family where he is the eye of everyone's affection. He has been amazing emotional support animal as he will nuzzle and cuddle you like he's a baby, constantly wanting to be wherever you are. He truly is an incredible boy.
