About Kobe

Kobe is a sweet mellow kitty who loves being around people, but not handled, although on his terms he will occasionally sit on a lap. He is turning 15 January 2, 2022, and his owner feels it is in his best interest to be rehomed as she and her husband will be living in several locations in the coming months, and Kobe will not like the changes. Kobe does love his owners and enjoys being petted, and in their company, so he will adjust to a new home. He is fine with dogs, but doesn't want to play or be sniffed by them; not sure about cats, but likely the same in that he'll want his space. He is not ok being put in a cage, and the vet office terrifies him to a point that he needs to be either sedated or handled properly. He does actaully travel well, just does not like the vet office (likely all the smells). Kobe loves his food and treats and knows when it's time to eat. He eats tiki cat wet food. His owner only gives him chicken flavor, and once a week salmon. Raw goat milk is given with food daily. He gets the Worlds Best Cat Litter in the light green bag. Kobe has been known to bite when scared or someone moves too quickly. His new owner will learn their boundaries with him, but in his old-age he has mellowed. His owner warns to never trust Kobe completely, and watch his body language. A quiet home with no children is a must for Kobe's new home. Kobe is uses horizontal floor scratch boxes. He does not bother furniture or rugs. His owner will provide at least a month's worth of food, goat's milk, and litter. She will also bring all of his supplies with Kobe; nothing will need to be bought to get him started in your home! Thank you and please contact Kobe's owner with any questions. 954-552-9009.
