About Arowyn

Arowyn is a STUNNING four-year-old Bengal cat, who came from a TICA breeder. She was adopted with her sister as a kitten, and was living in Las Vegas, NV, until recently. A Utah family saw her and her sister advertised and it was love at first sight. They immediately drove from Herriman UT to Las Vegas NV, to bring them home. They were told the girls were a bonded pair, but in time they realized that they really weren't. Another family member met them and asked if they would let him take her home, so Arowyn's sister went to a family member. She is absolutely thriving in their home and is definitely the Queen! After her sister left, Arowyn now had the opportunity to be the Queen Bengal of the household - and she loved it! However - the only thing she did not love is being transitioned from having outdoor access to being an indoor-only cat. Before you draw any inaccurate conclusions - her unhappiness with being indoors did NOT lead to any litter box avoidance issues. She was not door-darting or trying to escape, or being destructive in any way at all. Arowyn simply was not used to living in such a busy bustling house with many family members (human and four-legged). She took to hiding, and seeking out refuge, whenever more than a few people had gathered in her space. Reluctantly, her family drew the conclusion that she would do much better in a home that is a little less busy in terms of people and pets. So we hope to find a home for Arowyn where she'll be the center of attention and be able to give and receive the love she so dearly desires. Her family tells us: 'Arowyn is a big ball of fluff who loves to be with you 24/7 - and I do mean 24/7! She loves her ears scratched like a dog and her cheeks rubbed and she especially loves gentle butt-rubs. She doesn't mind dogs or cats but she REALLY doesn't like to be around a lot of people. She likes to knead the floor and soft blankets, but like MOST Bengals, she doesn't like to be picked up (let her come to you).' Overall Arowyn has an amazing temperament, she loves to bond with humans, she's playful, and such a blur that we had a very hard time getting great photos for this post! Arowyn is Spayed, Microchipped, and up-to-date on Vaccinations. She has all of her claws and is very polite with them. She was tested for FeLV, FIV, Feline Coronavirus, and Calicivirus and she tested negative for all of these possible conditions.
