Azalea was found in the desert malnourished with two severely broken back legs. She went to foster while a local shelter repairs her injuries. She had a crushed spirit and was very shy and fearful. She has healed well but will always limp a bit. She loves hiking and can easily do around 8 miles at a time. She is still shy and takes some time to trust. However, she is quite loving and wants petting and attention. New noises scare her but she adjusts. She got adopted and all was going excellent at the new home. Then her new people came down with Covid19 and they died. She went back to the foster and is trying again for a forever home. She is playful and active outside and calm and mellow in the house. She gets along well with the other dogs and teens in the house. She's lovely and needs someone who is active and will give her the time to come to trust. One other dog is great but a lot probably isn't a best option. She also needs someone who walks a lot and hikes from time to time. She walks fine on a leash and off leash will come back when called.
