About Bully

Bully is a tripod who has adjusted beautifully to her foster home. Bully lost her leg when she was nursing puppies and went out for a potty break when someone shot her in the shoulder. Her owner contacted us for help and we took her and her babies in. Bully had a pretty bad infection when we got her and her leg had to be amputated, Dogs are resilient as she shows us and is now ready to have a good life, She loves the couch, her new dog bed, and going for walks. Walking on a leash is new to her but she is mastering it. She likes to be close by and never pulls. She is so interested in everything around her. She is very loving, really pays attention, and wants to please and learned 'sit' in a day. We've started doing off-leash walks which she loves, she has great recall. We haven't had many opportunities to practice since her favorite place is right near her human. She is getting more adventurous walking down the trails with her foster sister. She's built up her stamina and now can do longer hikes. The only problem we've had so far with this sweet girl is that she wags her tail so hard and wiggles from joy, she can't keep her balance and falls down!
