She is EXTREMELY URGENT and is scheduled to be euthanized for space on 8/20/21. This cutie is available to private adopters and rescues! While in the shelter, she did really well with other dogs. She has been adopted out twice and returned for attacking another dog. Presumably the families were not savvy pittie owners. Mama Athena must be placed in a home with NO other animals. Per the shelter: 'Come meet Athena. Very sweet 8 year old lady pit bull who just loves attention and love. She came in as a stray with her puppy. The puppy was adopted and unfortunately, the adopter didn't want Mom. So here she has been sitting since July 2nd.
