About George

George, he came in with a little heeler named Lenny, we thought they might be bonded but they're doing fine when seperated on their own advertures. They can go seperately. Not a bonded pair. Ok, quick name change. The names they went into the shelter with were not worthy of mention. What we know about George, only 18 months old, and he is now neutered. He and Lenny belonged to a guy who resided in his vehicle. Probably the reason they are so good in cars. When that person could no longer care for the two boys, and he gave them to a relative possibly, to take over responsibility. Next page, the boys were walking around loose in the community. Lost as could be. But they stayed together. From the moment I heard about their plight, to the word from the puller/foster/transporter, it was originally thought these two were very bonded. Lenny probably looked to George for protection, and George, to Lenny for security. They have a relationship. But they have been making new relationships with dogs and people. and I've had them out seperately and they catually like the undivided attention! They are here now and branching out with other friends around. Sometimes it's obvious dogs can be adopted seperately, but equally, some need to stay together. We manage to do whatever is best for them. George is about 18 months, and 93 lbs. Australian Cattle dog / Shepherd? Best guess? What a mix! He is a gentle giant! Low energy and sweet as can be.
