About Dexter

Dex is a dedicated companion and faithful sidekick. He wants to be the only pup (good with cats) and needs comfy blankets for him to curl up under. Dexter has to be tucked in to go to sleep, and keeps a strict internal clock that means when 4PM arrives, he's licking faces with a furiously wagging tail to make sure someone (ANYONE!) finally sees that the clock has struck 4 and it's time for his dinner. He loves the sound and smell of a fresh container of tennis balls being opened. He then runs around the house yelling 'NEW BALL'. If it is wet outside, he comes in and will wait for his paws to be wiped so he does not track in mud. Dexter is a gentle playmate and has never shown aggression towards people, but does not get along with other dogs (despite growing up with 2 brothers). He is in desperate need of a best friend with a home where he's the only good boy around.
