Blue is a handsome 5 year old gentle giant that was brought to City of Long Beach Animal Care Services as a 'stray' on May 5th. Shortly after Blue arrived at the shelter one of the LBACS volunteers posted him on Nextdoor hoping to find his owner. Surely someone must be missing this gorgeous guy. ��%A4� Well, no owner stepped forward but, one of Blue's former neighbors did. This is what she had to say about him... 'I know this dog! His name is Blue. My neighbor abandoned him beacuse he was moving. He had someone take Blue to the shelter for him. He's a SWEET boy and gets along with other dogs! I fed Blue treats thru the fence for over a year. He's such a good boy!! He's gentle & VERY well trained.' Sweet��� Friendly��� Well-mannered��� Yup, that testimonial lines up with the Blue everyone at LBACS has come to know and love. Blue is a 5 year old, handsome grey pitbull that despite his macho appearance is a gentle, affectionate soul. He loves to play, loves treats, and most of all loves people. Blue has been at the shelter since the first week of May when his owner moved and sadly left him behind. He's been so patiently waiting for his happily ever after person to find him and take him to his forever home. Blue's former neighbors fed him through the fence and said he was a good, well-behaved boy who got along with dogs & people. He's impressed us with his good manners, friendliness and calm demeanor at a recent off-site adoption event. Blue is very strong and experience with larger breed dogs is a plus!
