About Posie

I am a spunky chunky girl looking for the next place to call home! When my mom first got me from the shelter I was scared, so it took time for me to feel comfortable being left alone, but with her patience my anxiety disappeared! I am resilient. My stress may come back when I first move in with my new family, but only for a little bit. I'm worth it though! I've never even had an accident in the house, plus I'm a quick learner (by the way - though I love food, I'm even more motivated by toys than treats). I'm such a good girl, I don't even use my crate when mom leaves anymore! I just snuggle under her covers and stare out the window while she's at work. I will never say no to a game of fetch or a long walk outside where I can chase lizards - being active is my favorite! I've never met a person I don't like, even if I don't know you I want to be on your lap as soon as possible. It's hard for me to warm up to other animals, and I would do my best as an only child. When my mom worked from home that was my favorite time! I would burrow into my blankets until you couldn't see me at all and sleep all day next to her (with many breaks to play tug of war of course). If you're looking for lots of laughter, I'm your girl! People say I make the weirdest dog faces they've ever seen, and I love to snort when I'm feeling feisty! I can't wait to meet you. Love, Posie.
