Wally came to us from Houston, Texas at 20 weeks old. He is currently 10 months old and weighs 50 lbs. He is on the smaller side and a pit/husky mix. He has a lot of energy and enjoys playing tug or having balls thrown for him. The only thing we know about his original home is that they sprayed him with water as punishment, so he is afraid of water. He is overall a very anxious dog around people he doesn't know and barks at strangers. He shows signs of aggression around new toys, bones or other high reward treats. If you offer a treat he will usually drop the item. He knows basic commands and is potty trained with the exception of rare accidents if he doesn't go outside enough. He is kennel trained and goes to bed at night in there. He needs a home with either a couple or single person who has no children or other pets to get the attention he deserves. He needs strict training to overcome his fears, but he can be a sweet and fun dog with a lot of attitude. He currently lives with another dog and does fine with her, but may need on leash introductions with other dogs. He chases cats and other small animals. We have decided to rehomd him because we have a 1 year old daughter who we are worried about with his behaviors.
