About Winston

Meet Winston Located in Snoqualmie. Winston is an athletic, muscular, exuberant 10 month old bully lab mix. Embark test in comments. He does calm down nicely in the house and wants to curl up on the couch with you. He is a glueboard dog and bonds strongly to the humans and dogs in the house. He has learned sit, down, stay, leave-it and walks well on leash. He has been well socialized with dogs, both large and small. He wants play continually with the other dogs and the older omega dog in house gets annoyed with him. There have been a few squables (nothing serious yet) and the resident dog is much happier and calmer when this pup is not there. Winston is most likely an alpha male and will need a home where someone can continue his socialization with dogs of all sizes and people. He has no exposure to cats, but has shown no prey drive toward small dogs. Winston has also been well socialized with lots of people and was initially raised with small children, however his exuberance (currently) is too much for anyone that can be knocked off their feet, easily. He would.be best with kids old enough to handle his energy and stay squarely on their feet until his training is completed. Winston happily greats people at the door (likely on account of the friendly resident dog) however Winston has shown guardian instincts while out on walks and assumes a stiff stranger danger stance to people approaching. This is being worked on but he must continue training and socialization with both dogs and people. Winston is approx 70lbs, fixed, chipped and up to date on vaccines.
