About Yogi is very sweet!

One Saturday morning, the shelter emailed us a photo of Yogi, and said that if no one came for him that day, he would be euthanized at 4 pm. The shelter staff thought he was a very sweet dog and needed to be saved, but unfortunately, he ran out of time. We were able to quickly scramble together a volunteer to transport him and another to foster him. When each volunteer saw him, they both burst into tears. This sweet little boy was so neglected and in really bad shape. He had multiple benign tumors(like lipomas) on his body, and some were so big, his skin tore open in multiple places. On top of that, he had a skin and ear infection and scratched himself raw. Despite how uncomfortable he was, he was very sweet and loving. He immediately wanted to cuddle with our volunteers. We have one of the most caring and dedicated foster moms who immediately took Yogi to our vet. He was treated for his skin and ear infections and has had surgeries to remove most of the masses. Yogi's skin healed and the fur is growing back beautifully. Yogi is a sweet boy who deserved to be treated better. Yogi is very devoted, loving and has such a happy personality. He is a great little dog that loves to sit in the sun, or nap by your side. Yogi is otherwise healthy. As time goes by, it's possible he may form some of the fatty masses/lipomas. That is just what some people and dogs do. That isn't Yogi's fault, and it certainly isn't a reason to be killed. Yogi needs someone who realizes that not everyone is perfect. He will repay you with so much love and gratitude. Yogi is really a special boy in every way! Yogi is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. We had his teeth cleaned as well. He is being fostered with dogs and cats and gets along well with everyone.
