For 12 years, LEO (#A1522788) had been loyal to his 'family,' but it would appear that loyalty was not reciprocated. 'Moving/life changes' were the reasons given for relinquishing LEO to the East Valley Animal Shelter, Van Nuys, CA. Imagine how LEO's life has changed. LEO is quite easy to love. He is gentle and sweet, and he could melt your heart when he looks into your eyes. Despite being a senior, he is in good shape and he still has pep in his step. According to the Dog Interview, which LEO's ex-family filled out, he is pretty darn perfect ~ He's a 'great loyal dog, good with kids & other dogs.' There's no telling what LEO's lifespan is but, hopefully, someone will overlook his age and open their heart and home to him, forevermore. The shelter is open without appointments on weekends, Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 5pm.
