About Snoopy

Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Happy, happy, happy! Here's a dog who loves life and takes time to smell the roses! Snoopy is fabulous, but not any old adopter will do because this boy was born to be a companion. To do his job properly, he wants someone to spend his days with. His new pet-parent must be either retired or work from home (not temporarily because of covid restrictions, but long-term). No exceptions. Meet Snoopy! He's a 2.5-year old, 50-ish pound American Staffordshire Terrier being fostered in Lawrence, MA. He currently lives with four dogs, so every day is like a party. He's great with other canine kids and has experience with an older cat. He could also be your one and only, but his life must include regular play dates. As far as two-legged kids, he can live with calmer children ages 10 and up. (He is not familiar with youngsters and random, loud noises startle him.) Snoopy enjoys many things, but if all he had in life was his person, he'd be perfectly content. He loves toys, car rides, sniffing around the yard, and taking walks. Always ready for a game of toss, he often carries a tennis ball in his mouth. He absolutely loves to snuggle and settle in with you for nap time or tv time. Snoopy is a social dog, but a sensitive soul who needs to experience new things at his own pace. He's highly sensitive to energy in the home, and gets very stressed if people argue or yell. His new home must have a peaceful vibe, good mojo, balanced chi, and be feng shui approved! Snoopy is the ultimate creature of habit. Each day is Groundhog Day. He likes things to be done at the same time and in the same way. He likes to get up at the same time, eat his meals at the same time, pee in the same place, and take the same walking route. If you have a similar lifestyle and also love life, then you could be soulmates. You must be mindful that too much change makes Snoopy nervous. To be clear, Snoopy is not a bore by any means and periodically enjoys adventures to new places. Without question, he needs to roam the house. He becomes antsy in a crate or left alone in a room. He's such a nice 'people person,' and not destructive, that there's no reason he should be separated or confined on a regular basis. Snoopy will require a slow transition to get used to his new life and family. He likes to take things one small step at a time. He needs a respectful owner who understands that dogs, just like people, are all individuals. In return, his lucky adopter will learn the meaning of a true Best Friend. Must-haves: an experienced dog owner who is home daily, strict routine, very low-stress home, fenced-in yard, kids 10+, compatible pets ok. https://tiny.cc/ARK-Application #ARKforSoopy #Snoopdog #JustSaveThem
