About Chance

Chance is looking for love locally, so within 1 hour of Wake Forest, NC. Chance loves every person he meets and gives you a big smile. He is very social, a social butterfly in fact...loves adults and kids alike. He is house trained, crate trained and loves a good road trip. As an older boy he is a bit set in his ways and likes spending time only with female dogs or submissive ones. Chance would be perfect as an only dog. He loves attention, snuggling, belly rubs and affection. He does LOVE being with his humans. He is an 8-year-old, 25lb male Jack Russell mix. You wouldn't guess Chance is 8 years old as he has a lot of energy to burn. He needs the ability to run and play to burn excess energy. He doesn't require a fence; however, does require family that is active and will take him on walks, runs and plenty of play time. While on walks, he enjoys taking time 'to smell the roses' - sniffing around is a lot of fun. Chance is still working on his leash manners and will need someone willing to continue his positive practice. As part of Chance's $250 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
