PLEASE READ ALL REQUIREMENTS OR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED! Apollo was surrendered to us after he was shot and the owners wanted to euthanize. The vet wouldn't let an otherwise healthy dog be put to sleep. His leg was beyond repair and they had to amputate it. Don't let this Tri-Pawd fool you - he has no idea he only has three legs, and he is the happiest boy on the planet. He is roughly 2 1/2 years old and only 30lbs. Apollo is crate trained, housebroken and knows 'sit', 'come' and 'down'. He LOVES to play, with people and other dogs, but he can't have too much rough-play/wrestling to avoid injury. We believe Apollo to be a Catahoula-mix breed due to his coloring and as he does have some herding instincts. Apollo needs a home with no children under the age of 10, MUST HAVE ANOTHER PLAYFUL DOG IN THE HOME and a 1-level home without stairs. He would do best with an adopter that works from home or is not gone from the house long hours. Apollo also needs a home with a fenced-in yard. IF YOU MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS APPLY ONLINE.
