About Skye

Skye, a one-year old boxer, is looking for a new owner(s) that can dedicate some up-front time to establish a themselves as the dominant hand for her. While she has many classic traits of a boxer - fun loving, sweet, high energy - she can also be aggressive (very difficult to handle but without any clear intent to harm) with handlers she deems 'weak'. Much time, training and love has been dedicated to Skye since coming home directly from breeder last October, however the owner is simply not alpha enough to manage her. She comes from purebred German lines which puts her more in the working-line camp relative to her American line peers. In short, she has more of a 'drive' which in turn begs a firm hand with a leader that can establish clear boundaries to successfully integrate into a new family; for the right owner she will arrive perfectly trained but also with some classic boxer puppy energy. Skye loves being around people, loves her toys and playing ball. She has enjoyed a full yard, ocean beach, long walks and ample attention. Skye is AKC registered, is good with kids and other dogs and has had a full year of training. She is microchipped and all health records are up to date. All paperwork will be provided and transferred. She was spayed around the 6 month mark. Fully house and crate trained; knows all basic commands and some advanced skills. She is currently 52 lbs. Birth date: August 15, 2020 Her parents were tested for DM and passed ARVC, heart auscultation, thyroid, hips, thyroid, elbows; before breeding both had full tick bourne infections and blood panels. In short, she is from top crop of the bloodlines, is exceptionally beautiful, is in top physical shape with stunning form. For the right owner she will arrive as the ultimate package.
