About Boss the Shar Pei Mix

Boss is a handsome 1 year old Shar Pei Mix Male who weighs about 60 pounds. This poor boy was abused, and has severe scarring along his back, we believe it is either chemical burns or actual burns. He is healing up wonderfully, but will have hair loss, likely for life, along his back. He warms up quickly to people, and seems to do well with female dogs, but will need a slow introduction and experienced owners if brought into a home with another dog. We would not recommend another male, and the female should be neutral, not dominant and of a similar size. He will be neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped with free registration. He is really looking forward to settling into his forever home and being spoiled and love as he deserves to be. He comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. His contract provides that he may be returned for full refund within 30 days of his delivery date should the owner believe he is not a good fit. He will arrive Saturday, October 30th, at the PetSmart in Oak Creek, WI at 320 W Town Square Way, Oak Creek, WI. We will be there from 10 am to 5 pm to deliver to adopting families who have placed exclusive hold deposits. He may also be dropped off or met for pickup along our route from Houston to WI leaving Friday October 29th. His adoption fee is $500 firm. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The $250 balance is due upon delivery as set out below. Should you find that he is not a good fit for your family, we are happy to take him back in and refund the entire $500 upon his return. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Holds are handled on a first-come, first-served basis with respect to the first person to place an exclusive hold deposit as instructed by the rescue. Once you have made the deposit, it is refundable so long as you show up to meet the dog on the agreed date. Prior notification of an intended no-show/non-delivery does not constitute showing up.
