About Buddy

He was hanging around my backyard every day for about 2 weeks before I decided to take him inside right before Hurricane Nicholas stuck the Houston area on 9/13/21. I knew he was friendly, but it turns out he is so incredibly sweet. I try to use toys to play with him, but he seems to far prioritize cuddling. As soon as I sit down, he will try to crawl in my lap and turn on the purr machine. Comfortable with outdoors as a stray but seems to prefer to go inside and cuddle with humans more. Seems okay with other cats. Doesn't react aggressively or fearful of other cats. Will hiss at dogs/puppies. Unfortunately, unable to care for him long term. I already care for two other cats and unable to care for another. Also plan on moving out of state for school in the coming months and would not be able to bring him along. Has Feline chronic gingivostomatitis and is FIV positive. Any cat as sweet as he is deserves a chance for a happy home. Just needs some good fashioned TLC.
