About Tanner

Tanner is a male, but he can surely rock it in pink, approximately 6 month old mix ( Shar Pei mix) who is around 20lbs. He came to us from an overcrowded, rural shelter in Kentucky where he had an awful neck injury due to an embedded collar. Since being in foster care, Tanner has healed up beautifully and is ready for his forever home! Tanner loves to play with other dogs. He is 95% housetrained and fully crate trained, We have not had Tanner around children or cats, but (with his great demeanor) we would assume that he would do great with dog-educated children. He wants to bark at and chase the chickens so we would NOT advise cats or fowl. New adopters need to be aware that they will need to work with Tanner for future success - we will be available to help give guidance and answer any questions or concerns as needed. Tanner's adoption fee is $400 which includes his neuter (11/3 on our vet's neuter schedule), microchipping, vaccinations and heartworm/lyme testing.
