About Sophia

This beautiful girl is Sophia. She has the softest coat and beautiful fluffy tail & toes which resemble a Maine Coon. She was found as a stray outside in West Palm Beach, FL. No friendly cat deserves to live a life on the streets, but especially one that is FRONT DECLAWED like Sophia. She was emaciated & soon became very ill at the shelter. She wasn't eating, was very dehydrated & extremely congested. When an urgent rescue request was issued that she was 'rapidly declining: excessive drooling, unable to treat, and still not eating' we knew we had to help this poor girl. If we didn't she would have been euthanized at 6pm that day. Thanks to the care of her foster & the help of the amazing Dr. Vanessa Adams, Sophia was able to make a complete turnaround. Sophia is a very easy going girl who enjoys her peace & quiet. She will make a wonderful companion and has recently become a lap cat at her foster home. She loves to lounge on cozy spots: beds, pet beds, you name it. Can you blame her for enjoying the good life after all she's been through? Her appetite is excellent & she has perfect litter box habits. We are looking for a calm, quiet home for Sophia to be pampered and live her golden years. We estimate her to be around 10 years old. She has not been introduced to other animals while we've had her. A home that can spoil her as their one and only would be ideal.
